The Christmas day of videogames is almost upon us. So many possibilities and hopes out there for both formats. Xbox one focus is games and more games. They have already come out swinging saying this will be the biggest first party focused e3 xbox has ever done. They are counting on their exclusives like Forza to heavily put pressure on Sony’s numbers at least in America.
They also hope games like Tomb Raider having a open and shut holiday release without any competition by Sony (thanks to pushed back uncharted)will once again give them the holidays numbers they need to beat Sony in America.
Then let’s not forget that we still don’t quite know the effect of Smite on the xbox one. It’s pretty big on Pc but consoles players will have to decide if it’s big to them too. Lastly maybe it’s their time to announce their slim system or another price cut.
Sony on the other hand is going to stick to their old ways. Heavy talks about success. Third party support will be at a all time high for E3 on Sony’s side thanks to their success in numbers in both hardware and software. Games like Batman and Call of Duty will be pushing Ps4, you can count on it. And at least god of War and will make its appearance for its transition rerelease. Lastly the all important No man sky , which I believe most likely will be delayed til 2016 as well. And then there was Vr…
It’s the elephant in the room ladies and gentlemen. Will it hit at a good price. Will it have the promised Eve Valkyrie and others for game support on day one? So far Project cars for ps4 supports it already and the headset isn’t even out. Basically you are looking at a very good day for both fans. Can’t wait to see how all this ends up and what surprises they have for us if any.
